Community rules
Effective October 29, 2026
The Salon is a kind, private place for members to celebrate each other's training. Every photo is checked by a moderator before anyone else sees it.
Post only yourself
- Photos must be of you, taken by you or with your permission, and you must be 18 or older.
- Nobody else may be recognisable, even in the background.
- Never post anyone else's photo, a screenshot of someone, or images from other websites.
Keep it tasteful
- No nudity and no explicit sexual content. Lingerie, outfits, makeup, heels and devices worn under clothing are fine; genitals, sexual acts and exposed breasts are not.
- Nothing violent, hateful, or involving bodily harm.
Protect your privacy
- Use your Institute name, never your real name.
- Cover your face if you'd like to, plus tattoos, birthmarks, mail, screens, documents, house numbers, uniforms with logos, or views from windows. The photo editor's hearts and blur are there for this.
- Never share your contact details, address, workplace or social media accounts, and don't ask others for theirs.
Be kind
- Praise and encourage. Teasing that fits the Institute's spirit is fine when someone asks to "show the class", but cruelty, body-shaming, slurs and pile-ons are not.
- No pressuring anyone to do more than they want, to meet, or to send anything privately.
- No selling, advertising, recruiting or links to other sites.
Zero tolerance: minors
Anything that involves, depicts or sexualises anyone under 18, or anyone who appears to be under 18, is removed, the account is closed for good, and it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement. There are no warnings and no exceptions.
How moderation works
- Photos always wait for a moderator before the class sees them. Text posts may appear straight away, depending on the Salon's settings.
- Report anything that breaks these rules with the Report button under the post. Reports are anonymous to the person you report.
- Moderators may hide or delete posts and comments, ban members from the Salon, or suspend accounts. Serious or repeated breaches mean losing your account.
- Questions or appeals: privacy@thefeminizationinstitute.com.
